New movado watch, what do you all think?
I was at the local PX in Fort Riley, and found this Movado with a swiss quartz movment. It was brand new in box with warranty and everything. MSRP was $895.000 but it was discounted at $299.00.(no tax because I'm military) I thought it was a steal. I was going to wear it as a beater watch. What do you all think about it? I jumped on it at the moment but I'm thinking about returning it too. Any suggestions and comments are welcome.

I'm not a fan of Movado, but if you like the watch...that's all that matters. It doesn't look bad, just not my cup of tea.

I know its not a Rolex, but my Explorer II is getting its fair amount of scratches since I wear it on a daily basis. I don't know, I just thought it looked fairly clean and would look nice with a suit.

Keep it, wear it, and enjoy it. It's a nice dress watch.

All that matters is if you like the watch. I'd keep it and either use it for your everyday watch or keep it BNIB to use later as a gift. You did get it at a great price!!!
