Ha, ha...unfortunately, this seems to happen quite a bit on TRF (that of people not reading everything before commenting). Classic on this thread!

"I would have owned up"...sorry boss, somehow I have a hard time believing a guy would tell the truth right after he's caught in a lie. Not cool and definitely not the correct way to introduce yourself to TRF IMO. At first I didn't really care, but the more I think about this, the more I think, WHY??? Total bush-league move IMO.

I don't know how shocking it is...personally, it doesn't cross my mind to suspect pictures posted of a new purchase to be fake (with the OP knowing). TRF is made up of numerous upstanding members that wouldn't dream of doing this or thinking it was 'cute'. Again, all I can think about the OP is

You guys can't be blamed for not noticing. It wasn't what you were looking for. How many new watch eye candy threads are there? Tons. You just take a look at the pic quickly and make your supportive/ congratulatory comments and move on. I'm sure it would have been a different story if it was a sales thread (you have those here, right?)

Oh look, there are rules here, amazing. Uh, it's posted right on top of the page ...

5. THIS IS NOT A FORUM FOR THE DISCUSSION OF FAKE WATCHES and your opinion are about FAKE WATCHES and who makes them, sells them, buys them and wears them is NOT welcome.

Thanks a lot fakebuster for your attention to detail. Much appreciated by everybody that fancies the real thing.

I can't take the credit for catching the scam. I was alerted of its presence and decided to join the forum to end it. I am no white knight.

Yeah...well at least you admit it and don't try to play it off like it's real...then say, "Oh...I was planning on telling everyone...it just conveniently slipped my mind until I was caught!"

I again apologize to The Rolex Forum as a whole and as a community, what I did was foolish and not called for. I have been a member of this forum for only a short time and I have quickly learned that you are all a group of die hard Rolex lovers and I should have respected that. I was caught off guard by the tremendous outpouring I received regarding my post and to be honest was in too deep too fast. I am thankful to fakebuster for ending the post and giving me a cowards way out. I understand that a trust has been breached but I thought that the people of this forum and community deserved a honest and heartfelt apology. I understand that I most likely will be banned from the forum and I deeply feel that it is my loss as I could have learned alot from you fine people and most likely made new and long lasting friendships. I have lost that privlege and for that I am sorry. I wish you all the best and again my deepset apologies.

I have no intentions of posting any pics or the such. I'd be happy to continue being a member here, but my goal was accomplished already. I probably wouldn't have much more to add, except I am pretty good at spotting the fakes.

Didn't see that one coming. Tilting my own at that angle, i get the crown guards, the escape valve -/+, but the fonting really escapes me. Maybe if i had it in my hands, with a loupe.

Hey Fakebuster...maybe I'm a little paranoid because of the events of this thread, but after this post it kind of makes me think you are DanD...a created account today to give him(you) an out (which is what DanD admitted in his last post). If this isn't the case, please forgive me. I'm probably a little too full of conspiracy theories at this point in time. Anybody else get that feeling or am I just crazy? Cheers.
