Wow, just finished viewing 47 pages of great watches, thanks to everyone who has posted.

I am not a SS Daytona C fan as yet, I prefer the solid metal bezel of the older watch or those on the current TT or full gold models.

From viewing this thread I did notice that there didn't appear to be many gold/champagne dial Daytona's on the thread, is there a reason for this, is it an unloved combination?

Love the Daytona's!!

Do you notice that they look like 43mm watches on most wrists in these pics?

It looks relatively small on my 7 1/4 inch wrist. Do most Daytona owners have 6 inch wrists? Hmmmmm....

recently picked up a full set 116520 but think i actually prefer the ceramic daytona better. it seems to wear "bigger" which is good for my fat wrist. once this one is back from service i think i'm gonna cut it loose to find a ceramic.

If you can, keep it and add the ceramic. Stick it away and you will be very happy one day. I have one that has never been worn. Full stickers and never even taken out of the box! it’s gone way way up. And I got it from an AD back when they were in production so I know it’s legit. (Hmm, maybe I should have that checked come to think of it).

Official Daytona Owners Thread?

Decided to give an Everest strap a shot for a bit; so far I like it as it's very comfortable and gives the watch a bit of formality which is perfect for looking dressier at the office!!!

Good for you! I love to personalize mine as well. Here is my white face with an alligator strap I had made. I’ve had Everest straps and they are ok, but if you want to get a true amazing luxury strap, I found Dangerous 9 and have configured and purchased
many different straps from them for different watches consisting of different material. These straps, in my opinion, are the Rolex of straps!
