VC Overseas blue dial 3-handler vs Dual time

If anyone has own VC overseas, can I ask which blue dial model did you guys end up with? And why? (4500v or 7900v)

I’m hoping to get some opinions from Overseas owners. Also, have you considered which model keeps the value more as time goes?

None of the above—went with chrono. 3 hander seems most likely to retain value but I think no one really knows as the Overseas is really starting to heat up of late it seems.

I ended up with the 7900V but love them both. No clue what’s gonna happen with future values but not concerned because I doubt this will ever leave my collection.

I went with the 3 hander, the chrono is too big for me and I wasn't a fan of the added thickness of the dual time

I went with the blue 3 hander as well. I would love to add a dual time down the road, and I guess am just waiting to see if they will add more variations (the Everest one off is something else...). I may just pull the trigger on the black dial dual time sooner rather than later

Thanks for response guys. Besides value retention, what are the selling point of 4500v and 7900v? or maybe deal breaker for one or the other?

I considered all three watches in blue (had only seen the chrono in the flesh before and it was an incredible watch). I went for the 3 hander in the end mainly as I’ve a Daytona so already had a chrono and it seemed illogical to pay a lot more when I’ve already got something similar. Also I thought that as the blue dial is so stunning the simplicity would show it off more.

That said dual time looks a special watch as well. I’m sure whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong. The 3 strap options take these watches to another level.

Both are fantastic. I got the dual time as I wanted a watch with a complication.

I don't think you can go wrong with either!
I went for the blue 3 hander because I always wanted it, but already have my eye on the black dual timer! Mine says hi with all the strap options I currently have

Blue three hander. Nowadays I’m finding much appeal in simplicity.
