YACHTMASTER vs GMT 2c

Hi Guys. Since both Yatchmaster and GMT 2c do have more bling on them than the current Sub 16610 and previous GMT 2 which would you prefer and why? Just curious

GMT II c. but only because I prefer an all SS watch. The Yatchmaster never has floated my boat (no pun intended)

Ask JJ if he would flip his Yatchmaster....He's had it too long now anyway

They are both beautiful pieces! Just acquired my IIc last month and the Platty is in my short list.

I just sold my SS/Plat YM to purchase a SS GMT IIc. Is not that I don't like the YM, I just got bored with it.

Anyone here want to give me a good deal on the GMT IIc?

Honestly, i used to like the Yatchmaster but after trying on a GMT 2c, i am more inclined now on getting the GMT 2c.

Go for it! You will not be disappointed. I sold my YM last week and I honestly not missing it at all. I guaranty you that once I get my GMT IIc, I won't even rememeber that I had a YM.

Btw, where in P.I. are you located?

Both watches would be fun to own but if I had to pick one, it would be the GMT-IIc!!!

I suppose I'm in the minority here. I prefer the YM. I love all the silver bling and have had my eyes on the YM for many years. The new GMT overlaps too much with the Subbie.

Having both the TT YM, complete w/ MOP dial and diamond/sapphire markers, and the newly acquired GMT IIc, I would say...

Come on guys, you know the answer to this...

Well it's just my way of thinking, but I wouldn't buy a YM unless I had a yacht!

And I know someone is going to say that they have a Sub, but don't own a submarine or they have a DSSD and can't swim!

It's just me!

GMT-IIC all the way, and no, I don't have an aeroplane!!

I'd say the YM, its by far the most underrated sport model and truly is a gem of a watch. I esspecaily like the TT YMs the best. The GMT while nice, for most really serves no purpose.

I went with the platinum YM over the GMT 2-C, because it's a dressier watch.

I prefer the GMT IIc, but the YM is a fabulous Rolex in my opinion, and much nicer looking than the garish YM II.

Between these two I'd go with the GMTIIC....I find the Plat YM a bit monotone.

Here are the two watches side by side. I sold the YM. It was just to monotone for my taste. Now if it came with a black dial It would be on my wrist right now.
