My beach combo

Black Bay + RubberB.

Whenever we head to the beach, it's the one I always grab. Just an easy watch to throw on and not have to worry about.

The RubberB has been a great strap for the last couple years - I even had second thoughts before buying because of the price. It has held up incredibly well, and sometimes can't believe it isn't OEM.

A few pics from today's visit to the Atlantic. What are you guys wearing to the beach?

It's a no-brainer in my opinion!

For some reason, I feel like the RubberB just works best with Tudors. With Rolex, I find it hard to replace the oyster bracelets - they're just perfect.

That's not a knock on Tudor bracelets, by the way; I just choose to wear the BB on something different than bracelet.

I'm heading to Siesta Key next month. Planning to wear my Explorer II Polar for the week.

Great combo - I was looking at Rubber B and Everest bands for my BB58 as a big fan of rubber straps. Yours looks great. Perfect for the beach!

Went for a rubber NATO instead... may order a more subtle colour too.

Can the sun effect the dial/bezel? I am taking my 114060 abroad and am keen to wear it in the sun.

Great pictures. I will get my Rubber B out and put it on my Black Bay for a different look.

Thanks, and yes - not cheap.

I will say that I have had no regrets since purchasing; it's just the initial hump of actually pulling the trigger that was tough.

Once on the watch, it feels buttery smooth and what I really like about it is the perfect integration with the lugs.

The one thing that has always bothered me with NATOs and other leather straps on the BBN is the huge gap from the lug holes to the top of the case, and you just don't see that here.

It's usually either of these two at the beach for me.
