Datejust list
Hi all,
Been a while since I posted. I bought my Batman (in 2017) from a well known UK dealer and inquired about a blue 36 datejust. I've been told for the spec I want there will be a 3-4 month waiting list. Is that normal these days? I've honestly not looked at watches too much in the last year so was surprised that there is such demand for Datejusts too (fluted bezel etc.). Also - is the super jubilee strap discontinued? I really wanted one without the oyser style clasp but not sure that's an option anymore? Thanks |

Luck of the draw.
The hidden clasp is no longer available on the current model Jubilee/DJ Availability and whether someone else is after that model. I got lucky and waited 2 weeks for a blue 36 DJ fluted jubilee |

Doesn’t sound crazy tbh. The blue and black dial are most popular from what I heard and both are generally a wait. Obv depends on AD / location but sounds ok. Keep in mind it could always come sooner, good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I got on the list for a rhodium DJ41 (fluted/jubilee) from my AD in January and got the watch in late May.

The Rolex boutique in Glasgow had a blue 36 SS DJ with sticks, fluted bezel and jubilee in their display which I tried on a couple of weeks ago. I would imagine it’s long gone by now though
Walking through the arcade this afternoon and Laings had 1 blue and 1 black dial 36 SS DJ in the window. Can’t remember what bracelet it was on as all my attention went on the Blue dial yachtmaster with that red second hand they had on display right next to it. Was really surprised to see any SS on display |

I've been on the waitlist for SS Wimbledon with the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet since late June. Still waiting for the call.

This model is pretty easily available anywhere in NYC. And they are available from trusted resellers for BELOW MSRP + tax. You can have one tomorrow.

Hi.
They had one in the window of GoldSmiths at the Trafford Center (Manchester) a couple of weeks ago. |
