Next in line: help me out!

Plain and Simple: my OP blue 39 is feeling lonely and keeps complaining about not having a Rolex friend to chat with.

Which one would be the perfect match in your opinion?

1)Explorer 39
2) DJ 36

In my humble, first post on the forum opinion, the Explorer.

I would say the datejust because of the date, but that explorer looks really good by it. I have a blue datejust and it is nice to put on my black sub in contrast. Go explorer. By the way if you can go all 3 that would be a really great trio!

Explorer is cool but doesn’t have the date function. Not sure if that is important to you or not. Not really sure how much depth and variety you’re looking for. You have a dark blue dial that changes in various lighting conditions, so does getting that silver dial in the DJ make more sense? Only you can make that call. If money isn’t the issue why not buy both

Hey guys, thanks a lot for the inputs and opinions. I may have a confession to make: my eyes kinda sparkled when I tried on the explorer. Shhhh! Don't let the OP hear that!!

I would love to get them both. They seem so perfect as a trio!!

Unfortunately, my budget is tight right now so I can only pick one of them.

Since I just started my watch collection this year, I thought it would help showing my 2 other watches.

One is white. The other one, black. Lol

At least I am consistent.

So funny, your watch needs a companion,

Explorer could be really cool and I think you might be able to come up with one. Beautiful watch you have, thanks for posting my friend...

Explorer for the simple reason that the center links aren’t polished. I much prefer satin because they don’t scratch as easily. Plus the sport dial and Mercedes hands on the Explorer make for an absolutely classic combination that will NEVER go out of style. You can dress that watch up or down. It’s as versatile as they come.
