FS: 1976 Rolex Daytona 6263 with Tropical Sub Dials
FS: 1976 Rolex Daytona 6263 with Tropical Sub Dials
Serial #: 4128XXX Description: Case: The thick and sharp case is in excellent condition and shows light wear from use. The black bezel Mark 1 insert is in good condition with a few of the numbers on the bezel worn off. The original crystal has some light crazing present. Dial: The glossy silver dial is excellent with lume plots that have aged to a vivid golden hue. The 9 o'clock marker is missing which is not uncommon for 6263s of this era. There is one small spot on the very edge of the dial between the 2 and 3 o'clock markers. The warm creamy hands have aged several shades lighter than the lume on the dial. The black subdials have aged to a warm chocolate brown hue. Bracelet: The 12 link USA rivet bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. Accessories: None. Notes: The chocolate brown subdials contrasted against the bright clean silver dial is such an excellent and eye-catching combination. On top of that, the subtle gold of the lume plots begin to emerge as you dive deeper into the visual playground of this dial.
