Explorer 214270 on big wrist!
Hello all,
For a while I have been admiring Explorer 39mm. I love all about it! However, since I have 7.75-8” wrist I was wondering if it would look small on my wrist! Are there guys with wrists as big as mine and how does it fit? Would you prefer it bigger as new OP in 41mm? Also, I purchased OP 39mm and I didn’t like it because it looked “weird” so I gave it to my wife! Does Explorer wear the same or larger? Thanks for sharing your experience! |

The OP39 114300 is the same case size as an Explorer 214270, so if it looked “weird”, then I would shoot for an OP41. My wrist size is around 7 3/8” and the Explorer 1 214270 fits me perfect.

My wrist is 7.5 and the Explorer 1 seemed heavy and too heavy to me, and many who love the watch opt for the 36mm. I think the Explorer 39mm would fit fine on just about anyone, but if you like big watches try the Expl II.

7.75” wrist here, the explorer 39mm is one of my favorite daily wearers and I have owned/own many pieces from vintage to modern.

All depends on the fit you want; as said before if you felt the OP39 was small don’t get one
