Incoming Kermit

Just picked up my Kermit and man am I excited!

Not a big spender, in fact I have 0 purchase history with this AD. I put my name down for a Hulk over 2 years ago and have been in touch with my AD regularly ever since.

Last summer I insisted on putting down a deposit to firm up my position. That was the trick! When the Hulk was discontinued I was the only client in file with a deposit and the AD agreed to move over my deposit to the new Kermit.

Proof that patience pays off and you don’t have to necessarily have to spend tons of money to get the call.

I’ll post some more/better pics soon.

Epic, congratulations! Might be the first one we've heard of in Toronto / Ontario / Canada potentially!

Thanks guys!

My first impressions of the watch.. the AR coating on the underside of the crystal makes a huge difference! Perhaps it’s the biggest difference of all in how the watch actually wears compared to the previous sub. The dial is so crisp it’s hard to describe without seeing it in person. The hour indices pop off the dial beautifully.

I love the contrast between the dial and bezel. It’s weird though, under indirect lighting conditions the watch appears all black, under direct lighting you can clearly see the colour contrast, but from a distance the watch appears all green. The light plays off it in a really fun way.

Really loving it in the couple hours that I’ve had it.

Congrats from a fellow Canadian. I'm really hoping my AD can land me a Kermit, been on them since it came out. It'll be my go to watch for sure. Never a fan of the Hulk, just personally preference that I didn't like the starburst dial.

Thanks bud, I liked the Hulk but definitely feel that this is more versatile. The proportions are better as well IMO. Good luck!

I think you’re on to something about the AR coating. The dial did seem rather crispy. I am going to pay a little closer attention the next time I come across the Sub 41.
