Rolex 14060M on Leather Strap

Just thought I would try something different than the traditional Oyster on my 5 digit Sub. I know most people don't like divers on leather, but it being colder now I thought I would try it. It doesn't look bad IMO. Do others wear their subs on leather?

Sure, I'm not swimming every day and weather is quite harsh right now, leather is a great option.

Personal thing, I don’t wear divers on leather but must admit that combination looks good.

I only wear my sub on leather, and am having a custom leather strap made presently for my new 126610. It'll be an espresso-brown alligator with white stitching and curved springbars, very similar to what comes with the Omega Railmaster, down to the deployant clasp I'm having installed. (It's on a 41mm brown leather strap repurposed from a "donor" watch at the moment--looks fantastic.) I prefer the way the watch looks on a strap, as I don't like all the flash of the stainless, nor the weight. And I like the idea of preserving the bracelet in pristine condition. I might pop it back on from time to time, if the mood strikes me, but it rarely does.

It's your (expensive!) stuff---do what you like with it and don't bother worrying about whether other people think it's ok or not. The "diver" logic is total BS, as has been definitively pointed out hundreds of times on this forum and elsewhere. James Bond wore his sub on a strap. :) And the percentage of Sub-owners who actually dive (with or without their Subs) is probably smaller than the percentage of Speedmaster owners who actually know how to use a tachymeter. It's so nonsensical.

This was said very graciously, thank you. Not everyone on this forum handles this issue with such class.

I know I was thinking the same thing. I didn't know if it would set people off or not seeing how strict the "rules" are lol.

I've put mine on black leather before, it's a nice combo!
Go for whatever you like!

When I had one of those, I wore it on a Worn and Wound slate (dark grey) strap. It was a very nice combination.

The brown you have works well also. Very versatile piece that can work with various strap colors/types.
