Dallas Area

I know there are a lot of members in the Dallas area considering that the RSC is here and the number of Rolex ADs around. So why not have a get together?

David and I are planning to meet up. Anyone else care to join us this upcoming week? We can meet in front of the Dallas RSC and get a group picture.

Didn't get a chance to meet with David since his schedule was too full. We definitly need to organize a get-together.

What would be a good place to meet?

Should have looked at the date. I did not even realize that it was last week!

There are many places to meet, but not a whole lot of us!

If you decide to get together next week, post the time and place. Timing's a bit off since my in-laws are in town next week, but will definitely try to stop by if possible...

Depending on the date, I would like to be counted in. I go home to Houston usually every other weekend. I just need to know a few weeks in advance.

I'm in Canada this weekend and next weekend and may be in Houston the last weekend of this month. So any Dallas GTG will have to wait until at least June.

Nothing ever materialized as far as I know... Actually Vu and I talked briefly about meeting once my wife and I received our watches, but then I had to leave hers with the RSC for resizing. That was Thursday and they said two weeks minimum, so with any luck we'll be returning on either the 17th or 24th...

I need to talk to some ADs about letting us meet in their store and maybe dinner afterwards. I am trying what Saturday would be good in August.

Let me make a few calls this week and I'll let you know.

I'm thinking Dallas Galleria so we can take a swing by Bachendorf's and dinner at the Oceanaire, the Grill on the Alley or Grand Lux Cafe? Sounds good?

I spoke to someone at Bachendorf's and she has agreed to participate in our get-together. She needs a head count of how many people who will attend so she can try to get enough Rolex catalogs. I also need a head count to make reservations at the restaurant.

Saturday, September 5th at 5:30 PM is the tenative data and time.

These are the restaurants that I had in mind, please vote for one.

Grand Lux Cafe - http://www.grandluxcafe.com/
The Grill On The Ally - http://www.thegrill.com/locationaeaa...sections_id=60
The Oceanaire - http://www.theoceanaire.com/location...taurant-dallas

And do you want to have dinner first and then visit the AD or visit the AD and then have dinner?

Thanks for doing the legwork on this. I'm for Bachendorf's before dinner as well. We should be able to make it but let's take the headcount closer to Sep 5. No preference on restaurant...
