FA Cup Semi-Finals

Hi football fans!

So, what do you guys think? Arsenal vs. Man Utd. final? Whatever it is, it should be a cracking game with the Gunners vs. Chelsea & Man utd vs. Everton.

Going to be an interesting sporting weekend footie and F1 Chinese GP. Arsenal have got so many injuries at the back and if Drogba decides he wants to play I fear for the gooners. There should be plenty of goals in the first semi. Hopefully 3-2 to the gooners.

Everton have really come on in the last few games and will be a handful for Man U. It will be interesting to see if rednose will play all his big guns. Man U could easily come unstuck, but Ronaldo has finally started to perform in the last few games so I say 1-0 to them.

I think that the final will be between Man Utd and Arsenal, and the way they are playing at the moment, I reckon Arsenal just might shade it.

Well I got it half right!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor old Berbsy...that penalty must go down as one of the weakest ever seen.

As for Fergie and Whinger's comments about the pitch....well all sides had to play on it so nobody had an unfair advantage.

At this late point it's looking to be the year of the Drog.

The player everybody loves to hate.

He just seems to be popping up and doing what is required at the moment...he and Lamps are driving Chelsk on.

I wonder what the odds are for Chelsk to do the league, the champs and the fa cup?

Might be worth a fiver!

gotta say Arsenal were poor and leaving Arshavin Song and Nasri out of the starting eleven was very strange. Drogba was pretty quite until Fabianski committed hari kari. Chelsea were better team but both goals were keeper errors.
Man U got what they deserved. Berbatov is going to have to redeem himself in the remaining games or the knives will be out.
I think the pitch question is relevant as both Arsenal and Man U play a high tempo quick passing game, whereas Everton and Chelsea are much more physical. To spend all that money on a stadium and not have a decent pitch is pretty outrageous.

X2
Berbatov is a great player seldom gives the ball away his control is perfect.
However, I have never seen such a great player, have less impact on games as this guy. I just don't get it. So good, but no impact and no end product!!!!!

i too cannot understand Arsene Wenger's logic in keeping Arshavin & Nasri on the bench. Though the defense was very shaky, the attack was short of ideas too. Sigh....there's only Champions League left to play for & that is an absolute mountain to climb.

On an unrelated note - why can't Newcastle ever break through to compete at the top? I used to watch them as much as I could being in the States.

A succession of useless owners and useless managers.

I believe it is called Tottenham syndrome!

That seems to confirm everything I have heard. Shame. I believe that they have had some very good talent over the years but just not enough to put it all together.

I feel the Gunners are over achieving this year with injuries and a very shaky defence. Wenger needs to inject a little size and steel in central midfield, a la Vidic. Hopefully he will take of this in the summer and next season they will be tough to stop. Like many in the team, Arshavin is a joy to watch!

They ended up with too many ex Leeds players.

As Jim says mismanaged and badly owned.

With Leeds being in the lower, lower divisions, as an impartial, I think that Arsenal's passing and movement is an absolute joy to watch, is it me though, but do they always just seem to go that one pass to far?

Last season yes, with Arshavin in the team they are much better and more direct did you see his 4 goals against Liverpool last night? magic just a pity we had the keystone cops in defence

I missed the match, I have seen so many great matches lately, the prospect of another corker was slim, so I thought that I would let the missus watch Hells Kitchen, gutted, the words lucky, marching band and piano spring to mind.

I had to record it as my wife had tickets for us to see an adaption of Brief Encounter at the theatre, which as it happens was very good
When I was watching the game my eldest son gave the score away
