Roman Numerals with black lining Datejust 116233 - Is it genuine?
Good morning,
Hope everyone is well. I have just bought a 2015 Rolex Datejust 116233 with a MOP Roman Numeral Dial from a trusted seller on Chrono 24. I am very happy with my new watch but I am a bit concerned about the dial and hands as my watch has black lining on the hands and also on the roman numerals (pictured below). When searching on google images I could not find any watches which are the same as mine (with black lining) which got me thinking that the dial and hands could be aftermarket even though when asked the seller said that all is Rolex original. Can someone kindly help me confirm if all is good or not? P.S this is my first post here so hello to all! Thanks & regards, Neil |

Think normally Rolex dials without hour lume markers (such as diamond or Roman dials) does not have lume on hands. Does the black line on the hands glow in the dark? If they do glow perhaps the dial or hands does not match each other.
Do you have the original Rolex paperwork of the watch and if so what does it say ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Hi Francisco,
The black line does not glow in the dark. I only have the guarantee card, no paperwork. |

I have never seen this kind of Romans on a Rolex, but don’t know if original or not. You never know with Rolex. It would be strange for anyone to fake this.
Btw the term trusted seller means nothing on Chrono. They all are
