What is your favorite Rolex detail? (in photos)

What is your favorite Rolex detail? Big or small.

** For me it’s the impossibly perfect finishing of the teeth on the bezel.

One of the details i too appreciated the most when i got my Submariner.

I also like how the polished side of the links blends with the brushed area.

The illusion of the hour markers floating on the deep black glossy dial.

The mirroring of the hands and hour markers on the dial.

And i absolutely adore the clicking sound of the 6 digit Submariner's bezel and locking/unlocking the clasp.

Those are all good ones!

A big +1 on the bezel action.

There are many aspects and no single one that sparks me the most.

Two tone and slate dial which is ever changing,

Green glass and orange second hand and hour markers,

Light blue second hand on ever changing Dark Rhodium dial.

Ever changing robins egg blue dial with brown cerachrome bezel.

And the easy ability to modify Rolex watches with after market accessories making them much more than a boring stayed watch!!!

I love every detail about this discontinued 36mm 116200. Silver decorated Arabic dial. White gold indices with blue superluminova white gold hands with green lume. Roulette date wheel... it’s not a watch for everyone but I love how quirky these came from the factory. Nota big datejust fan, but this combo is super sporty and exciting for a DJ.

The blue numerals are pretty darn special.

Probably the bezel action on the Sub/SD, and the pusher actuation of the Daytona.

Great photo. I’ve always admired the precision machining of the bezel groves.

My favourite Rolex is the YM40. The rhodium dial is my favourite element (especially in direct sunlight) with the pop of blue text and second hand. I also love the teeth on the bezel and the raised bezel markers.

That gray is epic. I love it on the DJ also. But that blue with it is really great.

The meteorite dial. Just incredible. To think this has been floating around space, maybe even seen another life form the possibilities are endless makes it very special to me. More so just so AMAZING to look at.

As others have noted, the precision of the 120 clicks of the Submariner bezel is my favorite detail. Unfortunately, that can't be captured in a photo.
