Divers, Submariner + Sea Dweller. Imagine the variety in the collection, you don't need any more.

This is actually prob my favorite answer. I like the daytonas, great combos but honestly prices are unreachable for majority of people for a single one, let alone a collection.
Explorer is a good idea but lacks a punch of some sort, in my opinion.

Sub/Sd/deepsea is such a vast vintage and modern array, SS, precious metal, bezel colors, and probably many more to come. Also, silly thing, but ai hate that the Daytona doesnt have a date lol.

And there’s a whole Mondani book to devour on the subject hehe.

Can I do both Explorer I and II?

If not, then Datejust

Datejust! History and heritage. Dress or sports. Steel or precious metals. Oyster or Jubilee, smooth, engine turned, fluted or even rotating bezels! The Datejust line is the rock Rolex is founded on. No other line has a greater amount of what makes Rolex Rolex.

It's impossible to have only one model collection, but for the look, I think Daytona looks the best.

I love chronographs, so it has to be Daytona "Pre-Daytona included"

If only one it would be the Seadweller because it includes all SD references including the DSSD.
Love the Submariner line too.

It’s unrealistic but i think it’s a challenge that forces you to think really deep about what you like from a collectability, type and complication point of view!

Give it your best shot!

GMT Master line.

Actually I think I've seen a member here showing a spectacular collection of his GMT Master II collection which covers all the SS, TT, and PM pieces, even the SARU one too, amazing.

It would have to be either the Submariner, or the DJ36.

Submariner. In over 25 years wearing one I've become so accustomed to using the timing bezel that buying a Rolex without one would be a no-go for me!

Submariner. As someone mentioned above, where it all started for me and where it will end. Crazy timing with this post, because I am actually going to do this. I tried datejust, GMT, just don’t like them as much as submariners. Also, I keep chasing the next shiny object, needs to stop. This way when there are new releases outside your model focus, you can admire without having to add. Can really be control on your collection and slowly add over time. Hoping to update soon with my progress with this, but all in on submariners.
