I put my AK on Everest and love it. Nice and comfortable and well made. It's a little expensive but you get what you pay for..

[QUOTE=MisterG12;11349583]I originally had 5x5 and went 5x4 and the clasp is much more centered on my wrist which may have some effect on minimizing the flair. I’m guessing wrist shape could come to play as well

Thanks. I assume you went shorter on the 6 oclock side. my datejust is 6x5 on my 6.75 inch wrist. May just have to roll the dice. BTW your watch looks killer on that strap.

That is not mine in the pic by the way. I just found the pic and photoshopped to show what the flair looked like. I just kept it figuring that’s just the way it was.

Correct and thank you. 6x5 seems mighty big for a 6.75 wrist. My wrist is 7” and the 5x4 works well with about 2 adjustments left to make larger.

I see sizing options on rubber b, but not on Everest.

Never mind. Sizing only for deployant buckle and not tang buckle which is what I bought and love.

That’s exactly what I did a while back. Traded off some nice SS sport pieces that I don’t miss a bit.

My experience with Everest has been pretty good; I've owned quite a few and I've never seen anything like that. Is that from wearing it too tight?

This is a real advantage to the Everests over RubberB in that the RBs need to be cut to size and will only fit the standard clasp for the watch. That turned out to be expensive in my case as I had to order a replacement part when I mis-cut the strap. IMHO Everest makes the best strap for use with OEM clasps. Other strap makers besides Everst and RB don't make them to go with clasps.

In my experience my Everest band has held up nicely but I prefer Rubber B now as they are a little more price sensitive and I can buy more!

It is really surprising that the customer service from these premium straps isn't more dialed in. Both Everest and Rubber B only take returns within 7 days with a restocking fee. After that...?

A while back I remember seeing Casey Neistat having his Rolex fall off his wrist with an Everest Band and I've been a bit apprehensive since.

I prefer the RubberB straps cause they look more flush with the watch

I own Everest, Rubber B, and Vanguard rubber straps for my Rolex's. I prefer Vanguard. Not just because of the price (1/2 the cost of Everest or Rubber B) but because the holes for the clasp are tightly spaced allowing for a more precise fit. The rubber quality of the Vanguard is just as good.

The only possible caveat to the Vanguard is that they don't make a strap that works with the Rolex clasp. But that's not a problem for me as I prefer a traditional clasp for a rubber strap.

I've also tried $25-$50 straps from ebay or etsy. Most of them suck with ugly "flashing" left on the side from the production molds. It's a complete crapshoot. I'd rather pay $130 for a Vanguard and know I'm getting a top quality product.

It's a lighter, more sporty/casual change of pace for me. If Rolex thought a rubber strap was a terrible idea for their product they wouldn't sell any watches with a rubber strap as standard issue.

I'm not sure what you mean by "not long enough for a man's wrist." The straps I have are plenty long enough for most men.

If I can get a refund for the Everest, I will give vanguard a look.

Had mine since 2017. Quality is very good and after 4 years does not show any aging or damage. Very good quality of product.

How is the fit compared to the original OEM? I mean, if you choose the exact number of links you currently have on the bracelet. Does it fit exactly the same? Looser? Tighter?
