Tudor Hydronaut 1200
Hi. Just wondering about this watch. I think Rolex/Tudor introduced it about a month ago in Geneva. Anyone have any idea when it will be available in North America and what the sticker price will be? Thanks in advance

Hi there
i think the new hydronaught 1200 is a great looking and functional watch. Tudor were on sale in the UK then Rolex made the commercial decision to stop selling them. I have just received my press packs of Rolex and Tudor from the Basel 2009 fair and the watch its self is fantastic. Rolex are going to be re-lauching Tudor in the Uk in aproximately 2 years. I have managed to persuade my contact at Rolex uk to order one as a special order for me, this will then be sent to Mappin & Webb for me to purchase. the best bit is the price which is £2200 inc vat. so dont know how that converts to dollars. but have to say very excited to be getting this watch and the specs look fantastic. 45mm in size, ceramic bezel, helium valve, ceramic in bracelet a sea dweller at half price... will post pics when can.. |

Thanks for all the info. It looks like a beautiful watch even though I'm sure it weighs a ton or thereabouts!

Hi every one
Tudor will not be back on sale in the Uk until the end of 2010. Rolex Hq at bexley is reloccating to new offices next year in West Malling Kent. They are have a brand new facility built, which happens to be only 500 yds from my own office YEEHA. The range of tudors will be released only to certain rolex agents, which will be nominated by rolex themselves. Thanks for posting some pics on the post.... Should any other forum member that resides in the Uk wich to order one of these new timepieces, I can find out from my contact whether we can obtain one for you with pleasure. I am certainly looking forward to receiving mine.... |

Didn't know they are moving to West Malling, thats not that far from me either (bit more than 500yrds though!). Nice part of the world, for those that have never been to Kent. mark |

Just one question about possible UK sales that you have been kind enough to offer to facilitate. Can a watch be supplied to an Ernest Jones branch in order that I can use my Signet discount card? Thanks |

the problem with earnest jones is that they cannot place direct special orders with Rolex Direct.
to get any watch from earnest Jones the branch creates a list then they send it to the watch buying dept who then collates which branches want to order the watches, then they create another central list ..... a long drawn out process... i am number one on a stores list for a Daytona, but on the central list i am number 33 thats why when wanting to special order something its easier to go through Mappin and webb (guildford) thats also assuming my contact can get the watch that i want to purchase hope this answers your query |
