I'm fairly sure an acquaintance of a member here managed to get 20% off and 36 months interest free, which is a phenomenal deal. Normally you'd be struggling to get more than 10% on a steel sports model.

Well that is difficult, if you want brand new then you will need to go to an authorised dealer. In that regard, it probably pays to go to a few dealers in your area and see who will give you the best deal.
If you are prepared to get used (but some are almost like new) then you could try U.K. ebay (as long as you know what you are doing). Otherwise have a look on the internet for U.K. dealer websites.

In Feb 2009 I paid US$3,400 for a BNIB in Tokyo.
Not sure of the UK prices or discounts. The Exp I is not the hot watch of the month so there are plenty of watches for sale at ADs. |

Wasn't the deal, 20% deposit and interest free, not 20% discount.

Ahh, a case of misreading on my part, I thought that deal was too good to be true!
