Tourneau sold a Daytona 116520 for $19k

I didn't know Daytonas go on sale. Sold quickly. Seems well under market. Someone got lucky.

Even the Daytona is just a watch and today one of the most over hyped Rolex watches ever. But today many buy the hype to wear the hype, as for market value thats always what someone would pay. And today there are hundreds of Daytona plus the other so called hot watches for sale mainly in the grey market. Why its because over the past few years Rolex stopped being watches bought to be enjoyed, now to many just ££$$$$€€€ object things.

Not much of a sale. Only 150% of MSRP instead of 200%! What a deal!

Maybe the dam is beginning to leak though....

Does Tourneau include box, papers, etc on their used watches?

Anyone know why this is the case so often with Tourneau? I got lucky a few years back on a pre owned Rolex from them with box and papers but I don’t think a single one of their current stock has. Is it a product of the kinds of people who sell to Tourneau? Doesn’t seem to be a byproduct of anything shady since Tourneau is an AD and is one of the largest pre owned watch dealers in the US.

not a bad price, but looks to be missing links, no box or papers, "excellent" condition, aka polished 100x haha, old style clasp. It looks like the pricing is about right. But YES, for tourneau this is low.

It's beginning. It wasn't moving and they wanted it gone.

Wait for a sustained stock market correction. They'll come down.

I agree the watch was missing links, box, papers, etc.

It won't win any contests but this is the cheapest 6 digit steel Daytona I've seen for sale in months and it's at an AD of all places and offered with a 2y warranty.

This purchase would improve one's status at the AD arm of Tourneau. Great buy for someone and helpful for future purchases of Rolex allocation pieces!

Regarding the MSRP, while the ceramic daytona is difficult to buy at AD, this watch is actually impossible as it's out of production for 5 years now so the market price is the only price.

My $0.02 is that ceramic bezels are here to stay and in time the market will come to appreciate the steel bezels more than the ceramics.

What's up with the misaligned bezel? Is that even possible?

TOURNEAU website is so weird. If you filter Rolex >39mm this doesn’t show up.
