Jubilee Pepsi on oyster?
Sorry if late to the party with this question. But has anyone managed to test if the jubilee Pepsi is able to work with the new oyster bracelet, or vice versa? Or has anyone been fortunate enough to own both? I’d love the option to try an oyster with my Pepsi.
Thanks in advance |

Jubilee Pepsi on oyster?
Quote:
Don’t own either, but was fortunate enough to view/try on both the 2021 BLNR & BLRO at my AD recently. Here’s a link to the thread I made about it. I believe the bracelets are now interchangeable between Jubilee & Oyster on the 12xxx series models whereas I don’t believe they were previously on the 11xxx series, although I may be corrected on that Thanks https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=803748 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They are interchangeable otherwise the jubilee would have changed reference number, which it hasn't.

From what I read of french forums, yes, the other bracelet (oyster or jubilee) will be available for purchase, but not before April 2022.

Baz our own Rolex expert employee posted about this last week ,
If you current own the Jubilee version you can’t buy the oyster Now if you buy a 2021 Oyster version you will be allowed to purchase the Jubilee How this works out . I will leave you to work it out 🤔 |

I was with my SA on Wednesday, she has been outstanding. She advised me that the only way that I can get an Oyster for my current BLRO is to swap the Jubilee for the Oyster by having them send in the Jubilee in exchange for the Oyster. She said they will not allow you to have both bracelets. Take that information for what it is worth, I have received 5 SS from her in the last 16 months and she has assisted close friends of mine with 3 other SS sport models so I trust whatever she says as “Rolex gospel”

Anyone tried swapping the oyster bracelet on Sub ND 124060 to BLNR 126710? Any issues?

Picked up my BLRO from a Rolex boutique last week, my contact (Rolex Brand Manager) said it is possible to purchase the Oyster bracelet but the watch has to be sent in for a service at its one year anniversary, they will then change the bracelet (obviously at the cost of the bracelet) and return your existing bracelet as well. Don't fancy servicing my watch after one year just to get the oyster so will pass on that for now.... Might change my mind later down the line. Have my 116610LN so for me, the jubilee version was my preference.

Well you got me thinking about this. I am not sure about the new oyster with the polished centre link, but I gave this a try.
Hulk Oyster on Pepsi with Jubilee. The pin holes on the cases are off by just a tiny bit on the Hulk and Pepsi. Also the pins of the jubilee are thinner than that of the Oyster. Therefore, if you use the pins of the Pepsi Jubilee on the Hulk Oyster, it will fit on the Pepsi. I realize that none of this probably helps you but it may give you options if you own a 40mm sub and a jubilee Pepsi. I guess the most important take away is that the thickness of the pins in each of the Oyster and Jubilee bracelets are different, which may be the cause of limitations. |

You can buy an oyster bracelet on the classified section here. It will cost you a few grand. You could even buy a submariner bracelet and have the glide lock clasp buy won’t have the pcl.

My AD advised when I picked up my BLRO last month that perhaps sometime in the summer, they could order the oyster. He did not say anything about servicing or rolex keeping the jubilee.

Don’t hate me but it looks so much cleaner with the Jubilee.
Obviously subjective. I just find it looks too utilitarian with the Oyster. Too much into submariner territory. Commercial pilots with pilot suits fit better with the jubilee Just my opinion |

Hopefully I can order a Oyster for my Jubilee but I tested my oyster bracelet on my 116710ln with a BLRO and it works. You do have to use the BLRO springbars.

As mentioned above, 40mm sub bracelet fits fine as long as the original springbars from the BLRO jubilee are used. I prefer the brushed oyster to the polished one by far. Having glidelock is really nice too.

If I can get a hold of one of the new oyster bracelets I will buy it and have it brushed. Not a huge fan of PCL oyster.
