Speedy's first road trip
I finally took Speedy out of its box. Here are some photos from my cell of our first road trip. The wife and I went to a local shrine to pray for good health.

Is this in Fukuoka?
I see a box of "MENTAIKO" in souvenir stand in one of the photo.

You are regular Japanese. Yes, I have been to Fukuoka. Love Tenjin, Nakasu and Nagahama. My wife and daughter lives in Japan (Nagano) 3 months out of the year and last year they purchased JR Pass (its' a great deal) to travel from North(Hakodate) to South (Fukuoka) including Oita (Yufuin for hotsprings). They'll be back in Japan late May. Go Soft Bank Hawks !!

So you live in Oita - the hot springs haven. I just came back from business trip to Japan (Kanto area). Prior to wife and daughter's return to US in August I'm planning to join them in Japan for week or so of JR Railway Pass trip from North to South as they've done last year. My daughter loves having various Ekiben Bento Box from different region. Oita (Yufuin, Beppu) is definite in our plan. I will likely to have have an another business trip to Japan (Kansai area) before the August.

Kia ora, If you come through or near Hita, drop me a PM and I'll and meet you. Tom (KansaiVet) is in Fukuoka, so we could have small GTG. I like the bento boxes too , but I usually drive everywhere so I don't get to enjoy them that often.
