Wait time on WG Meteorite GMT 126719BLRO ?

Hey folks,

I’m curious… what are the wait times for whose who have gotten the WG Meteorite GMT (126719BLRO)?

Not in a rush, but its definitively my next piece.

Are we looking at 6 months? 12 months? or are we in Daytona territory?

Thanks

Too many variables.

If they see one per year or two (if that)
And there are 3 people waiting then it’s 3-6 years

If they get one next week and no one on the list then it’s one weeK

I was told indefinite wait by my area dealers So I know it means impossible for me

It's def in the Daytona area. I believe you have to be a VIP at your AD to get one and even then it's going to be a wait.

I would say not quite as hard as the JM Daytona, but just a step under.

It's up there with the Sky D blue in terms of availability in the UK.

Rarer than a Daytona, MUCH rarer so expect many years if ever at this point imho. About one a year... mmmm maybe two but demand... you're a bit late, unfortunately, yet very much worth trying.

I received mine after 3 years from release…..
I can tell you like this….. if you have a good relationship with your Ad will happen in 2-3 years or maybe less…..
If not and your AD it’s type who want to maximize profit on every rare piece then probably will not happen or you have grey market…..
I believe now it will be more rare because of new Daytona Meteorite dial who are few models and Meteorite Dial it’s something who are limited supply…… so Rolex like I know don’t hurry to finish his supply or to full fill market with Meteorite dial….
Just my opinion and my experience….
I wish you success…

I understand only 1, or at most 2, are allocated per year to those AD's deemed worthy based on some Rolex performance metric. Some AD's don't even get an allocation.

When I picked up mine, my AD said he doesn't think he'll be able to get another this year. So based on that, I believe they are rare. In fact, to put it in perspective, my AD had successfully ordered a rainbow Daytona before, but he had never even seen a meteorite GMT before mine.

That all being said, it took me only 2 months to get mine. Based on what I've seen though, I would say that this experience was not typical, and I would say I both got lucky and have a really good relationship with the right AD.

OP--the watch is worth the wait. It's my favorite by far.

+1, This is correct.

Last year I asked for WG Pepsi Meteorite and YG Daytona Green at the same time.

Two months later I got YG Daytona Green and another 3 months after that I got WG Pepsi Meteorite, so it depends on your timing and luck.

Waited 4 weeks for this from an AD in November who isn’t my main AD. Got lucky I think. Since I wanted blue it made it easier. Totally underrated IMO.

Agreed with other sentiments said here so far. Even BIG ADs will see low single digits of these each year as best as I can tell. So mean delivery at a big AD will be in the order of many months. There are likely smaller ADs that have simply NEVER received one. Even a big AD at this point will not even have a regular cadence for when such would arrive.

Then you have to factor in who as their customer base want it and how many of those are ahead of you.

Man that space pepsi is incredible, great photo. I'm hoping I could possibly score a 2021 space panda.

On that note I actually think space Daytonas will be more numerous than the space pepsi. I just get the feeling that the space pepsi is very close to being an off catalog piece that rolex isn't actually committed to delivering.

I think this one is the real winner with a distinct blue and much easier to read.

I bought mine on the secondary market. I have a ok relationship with AD but I’m not very patient and he said to me this one may aswell just consider it a no. He’s had one in three years. I always worry they’re going to discontinue the model I want so I just buy it I’m very impulsive.

Secondary market especially for a watch this rare is always if you buy later you end up paying more.

Wish you luck with your wait it’s a fantastic watch!

It is very difficult, that beautiful combination. I am waiting as well (bought lots of other Rolex watches), but the largest by far Rolex AD in Denmark gets 1 piece a year! Several other ADs zero a year… Here even Daytona is “easier”.

Very best of luck to you It’s a stunning piece!
