Could be AD or could be Gray. He’s ultra rich, i don’t think he cares where his agent gets em from.

I would think he got them direct from Rolex or he got them from an AD with direct help from Rolex where Rolex sent the AD those watches immediately and specifically for this purpose.

Hate to break it to you, the sub is easily available if you’re on the good list. Patty Mahomes is def on the good list.

100000000000000% these came from an AD

How can anyone think otherwise?

He likely made one phone call and they showed up the next day.

I will say he is class act and the type of athlete Rolex would want to be associated with.

His salary is roughly $2500/hr. Should've got them some 5711's =)

If you're on that list, a Rainbow Daytona probably isn't even that hard to get.

He could get them from an AD no problem but no matter how big an AD is, they’re not holding unto six Submariners in a safe.
One or two ok not four or six.
It’s like someone said, called his agent, made the request and he made it happen and very certain it was a grey dealer. Who even they for a sale in bulk to Mahomes cut him a deal to ensure future business.

yeah an AD won't have 6 subs and i think it's a bit out there to think they went directly to rolex for 6 submariners. like you said, probably just told his agent to get him x number of subs and the agent just got them where-ever it was easiest

But if he's a watch guy, he may have an AD relationship (someone above said they use the same one...). In that case, I'm sure he calls his AD, asks about the six Subs and AD calls Rolex rep saying: "Hey, guess what, Patrick Mahomes just stopped by asking for six Subs, can you send?" and they're on their way.

I think anyone suggesting he has the juice to pick up the phone and get a half dozen SS watches at or below retail is guessing and wrong.

If it was Submariners they only command a few grand over retail on the grey market. This isn't Roger Federer.

I would guess he went to an AD, and the AD then contacted Rolex who made it happen. As others said it is good business for them. I remember one time a AD sent Ellen a watch just because she asked for it on air.

No, he has the juice. Unlike Federer, he still has to pay for his Rolexes, instead of having them arrive gratis alongside his seven-figure checks, but he certainly has the juice.

Rolex may not have an official relationship with the NFL, nor use football players as ambassadors, but trust me, they love the idea of a star quarterback giving their watches as gifts to his groomsmen.

Pretty sure they were just scared of her. She had a reputation as an absolute tyrant.

Not even close. Try 10x that if you assume he works 40hrs a week, which, he doesn’t.

Uh, NFL quarterbacks don't just show up once a week.

He's working at least 100 hours a week during the season between trainings, workouts, meetings, travel and press. Many of them sleep at the team facility.

Agreed. I got mine approximately 10-days after cold calling and asking for one. I did send a $100 bottle of wine immediately after the initial phone call. Not sure how that influenced anything.

So looking at the hourly rate and actual work put in, Mahomes and I kinda make the same?

Agreed, different world.

Look at the expensive jewelry and designer clothing celebrities are loaned to wear to the Oscars?

20 years ago, a friend’s then-wife, who worked at the Tiffany retail store in Beverly Hills, told me the store had a private (can’t remember if it was after-hours, but the store was closed) in-store shopping event for a high-end client (I think her friends were shopping with her). She worked the event herself. What kind of spending history do you think you need to have to get Tiffany to be open just for you? Tiffany gets orders all the time for a large quantity of custom clocks etc. as party favors, thank-you gifts to movie crews, etc. I’m sure this wasn’t a one-off.

My “evening out with the girls” isn’t a private shopping spree at Tiffany.

It’s all part of marketing. No doubt other watch brands would have loved that type of exposure. Plus it gives him class (because it’s a classy thing to do; good for him). Seriously, if he had given out Hublot Big Bangs or a Tag anything (other than a Monaco) would the response have been the same?

Not talking "work week". I mean every hour, 24 hours a day, every day this year.

$21,716,905 salary and some math. Kid goes to bed, wakes up, and clocks $20k while his eyes were closed. Good on him, he's a rarity in professional sports these days.
