Incoming 126610LV!
I had 116610LV for a while and really enjoyed it, but I always felt that the sunburst green dial was a bit much. I also preferred the thinner lugs of the 5-digit subs. The new 126610LV seemed like it might be just what I was looking for. Throwing in the newer 3235 movement was an added bonus.
Happy to say that after being able to see the 126610LV in the flesh today and take possession of it, my suspicions were confirmed. The proportions, color, etc. are exactly what I was after. Green is my favorite color and I think looks great on a Sub and this one has just the right amount. Very happy with the smaller lugs and proportion of the lugs to the wider bracelet also. Picture below of what I wore to the office this morning along with what I’m wearing home. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Congratulations!! It is a very beautiful watch indeed! If I could only have two watches it would be that and a Daytona.

Congrats! I originally wasn’t a fan of the green, but I must say this one has grown on me.

Congratulations, nothing wrong with a splash of green. I'd buy one at retail.

Nice! Enjoy!
Any chance of wrist shots of the 16610 v 126610? I have a 16610 and looking to pick one up, but since they're not available to try on, it would be helpful to see how both watches wear on the same wrist. |

Sure. Here you go. They wear pretty similarly. The 126610 is a bit heavier and I’m able to get a better bracelet for due to the Glidelock, but otherwise very similar.

I’m I the only one who thinks the 16610 looks better?

Congrats! Welcome to the 126610LV club! Like you, I have the 16610 and the 126610LV. I agree with your sentiments that the 16610 is a classic. Unfortunately, it hasn't seen any wrist time in months since I got the 126610LV.

The original Kermit (16610LV) came out when I was in college. I couldn’t afford such a watch at the time but am very happy to have the modern equivalent now. I think it will have the majority of my wrist time for a while. I’m expecting I’ll find some days for my classic 16610, but we’ll see how if goes. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Congrats! It's cliche, but I've seen this watch in person and pictures do not do it justice. It's a really cool shade of green in person.
