Who else is never going to use the GMT function on their GMT watch?
It’s a cute novelty but 1000x more difficult than figuring out the time in a second zone by normal methods.

Second time zone, maybe, third time and forth time zone, it becomes a tool I wouldn’t be without. Being a pilot, based overseas, I always need Zulu Time, the time at home, the time where I am and the time zone of my overseas base. That’s often FOUR different times I’m trying to track.

GMT does it all, and yes, I am most likely one of the minority who uses it for its intended purpose most days and wear it for everything else in between. It spent most of its day today being submerged in the river whilst out canoeing with the family.

Wouldn’t ever be without my LN. Best tool watch ever made for people like me.

The GMT hand is set to GMT time, aka Zulu time or UTC time. Every reference to time in aviation uses this time zone; weather, flight plans, takeoff and land times, in flight time adjustments with ATC. When I am at work the GMT complication is used constantly.

I like the looks of my Submariner more and I enjoy wearing the Sub more. However the GMT Master II is an incredible tool when used as intended.
