Please give some advice on buying new S/S DAYTONA
Hi Guys,
I'm living in UK,and want to buy a brand new stainless steel DAYTONA White Dail. I rang up many UK ADs and the minimum time is 2 years waiting list. Could anyone give me advice on how to get a new one quicker than that? a 100% Authentic new one is a must. Does anyone in UK have good relationship with ADs and would like to give me a help? otherthan that, I heard that there are gey on-line dealers, but I never buy expensive things on line before(I feel that its too risky),so i don't know how can make sure I get Authentic new one. Thank you very much!!! |

Get yourself on as many lists as possible, something might come up. The only other way to get hold of one is to spend an obscene amount of money on other items from an AD, then they'd be more than happy to find you one. There are grey dealers around, but expect to pay a premium.

If you use a reputable grey dealer and there are a few good ones here in the UK, you will get as good as new. In hind sight I wish I had paid over list for mine and be done with it as by the time I came to buy one the price was a lot more then what it would have been at the time had I paid the premium.
I can highly recommend dream watches, have always had superb service and he is a fair gentleman.

Get your A$$ to Vienna, walk in to Wagner, Kärntner Strasse, Wien I, ( or two other ADs ), try the watch, lay down the cash or your Card, and walk out of the store.
I´d phone first, if I were you, but if you wish I´ll do that for you. Then enjoy a lovely evening with your brand spanking new Daytona and your spouse/significant other! I may furnish some nice locations, too. Will cost you money, too. Hermann |

Swiss Luxury has them in stock now and everything I have heard about them is that they are a solid grey dealer.
Looks like they have a premium on them there so you'd have to decide if you are willing to pay that. |

There is not short cut.
Get yourself on plenty of lists as has been said. Some dealers won't be interested since they will assume you are an opportunist. I have been promised the next one coming into my newly friendly AD but it is already spoken for, promised to another member here. Otherwise try watches.co.uk, blowers, watchcentre and other trusted UK sellers and pay the £1000 premium.

If I say "this will cost you money" I do NOT mean money to me! My tipps will cost you money, of course, but you will eat and drink very, very well! ;-) Try it, it´s quite nice to live in Vienna ... Hermann P.S.: glad to help any TRFer, as I have received TONS of help there! |
