Best dial for DayDate 40 yellow Gold?

Which dial is the best on the day date 40 in yellow gold?

I'm considering the champagne or Black diamond dial...

Champagne with baguette diamonds in my opinion:

Easy. No contest. Black with baguettes.

We are all biased 😅

Silver dial, deconstructed romans for me. Hard to photograph, but while I like the photos of the white dial, in-person, I feel that the silver dial is nicer (plays with the light better). Deconstructed romans really match the fluted bezel imo as well.

Really personal preference, no wrong answer with the DD. Any of the silver are my personal favorites.

I’m biased to silver with deconstructed romans. I will admit that I sometimes miss not having lume, but it’s worth it.

Someone asked if they made it in 36mm. Sadly they do not. In fact, the 36mm dial options are a bit tired. I'm hoping for some new dial options on the 36mm DD soon.

This. After a few more years, I'm selling everything and getting this combo in a day date or sky dweller

I literally just made this decision. I was close on silver and silver motif, but ultimately went with champagne romans. Champagne is classic on these watches. If you can swing diamonds, I would. But champagne is the one.

Usually champagne dials are a “no buy” for me ..but a champagne dial in this particular Day-Date is all the money !

I had a short list when waiting for mine. Champagne, silver or baguettes. You cant go wrong with any of the 3 in my mind. I jumped in the silver when I was offered it. In person that dial really pops and changes in different lighting.
