Kinda hard to even be interested or excited when you can't even see the watches in a store let alone buy it. On top of that most ADs treat customers that are stopping in like beggars during a plague.
People are still waiting for releases from 2-3 Basels ago, so like them anything I like/want from Rolex is currently available and in waiting so not interested in going in to pester AD for something else. Having said that, only one watch would have me really excited, a palm or fluted motif dial Datejust in 41mm, second to that would be an Explorer 1 in 39(which is not happening). So essentially, kinda don't care. |

Project Vienna (many TRF readers will be familiar with this from the 2021 rumours) comes to fruition with a dress-style chronograph - hopefully including a date feature. Lots of credible leaks about this line of development.

2022 introduction from Rolex:
Queue ticket dispenser machine in all AD with perpetual century calendar to make sure your time will come eventually, tickets will be left from generation to generation. Tickets can be sold afterwards to Greys who will pay price of steel at the market price |

Still waiting for "my" 2018 steel Pepsi. Any minute now. Feels like it's been ages. The waiting is part of the enjoyment, they say.
My prediction is no new steel models, only TT and PM. |

A waiting list to wait in the line out the front door on Saturday mornings.
A Rolex buyback program, where you sell the AD back the watch you bought to bump yourself up the list at 50% loss, to bump yourself even further up the list. Dial-a-percentage available to move even further up. A larger backroom safe at your local AD. Sent from my SM-A716U1 using Tapatalk |

We'll only know for sure when they release them, but in the meanwhile, here's a list I made of the last year a current model was updated, although this doesn't mean anything.
2000: Daytona, ref. 165xx 2007: Milgauss ref. 116400 and Yacht-Master II, ref. 116688/9 2012: Sky-Dweller, ref. 326xxx 2014: Cellini (39mm) 2015: Day-Date 40, ref. 2282xx and Yacht-Master, ref. 26862/5x and 12662/5x and Lady-Datejust and Pearlmaster 39 2016: Air-King, ref. 116900 and Datejust 41, ref. 1263xx and Daytona 116500 2017: Sea-Dweller, ref. 12660x and Cellini Moonphase (39mm) 2018: GMT Master II, ref. 1267xx; Datejust, ref. 1262xx and Sea-Dweller Deapsea, ref. 126660 2019: Day-Date, ref. 1282xx and Yacht-Master 42, ref. 226659 2020: Oyster Perpetual, ref. 126000 and 124300 and Submariner, ref. 124060 and 12661x 2021: Explorer, ref. 12427x and Explorer 2, ref. 226570 I didn’t include the Lady Datejust, Pearlmaster and sub-36mm Oyster Perpetuals and I didn’t count the use of new variants (use of (precious) metals and other materials) as new releases. Just the case and/or movement. Feel free to point out any mistakes or things I might have missed. In case of the Daytona in steel something could be said about its smaller right-side lugs. Does it count as a new case? Is the cerachrom bezel a big enough difference to warrant a ‘new’ series? 2011: cerachrom bezel in (Everose) Daytona 2016: Daytona 116500LN Of course, Rolex is not only about new releases. Stuff gets discontinued every year. This thread even mentions model names that were being discontinued: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=760780 |

My AD mentioned something yesterday regarding the cases being empty. They will hold back watches in general until they have X number and put them all in the cases at once.
These will mostly be DateJust TT watches. Don’t expect to walk in and pick up a BLRO or a Daytona. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
