What SIZE Rolex is the all time best seller?

I know this is a question without true accuracy, as totals aren't made public, as far as I know......

Not the reference, the size is the question???/

I'd also guess 36. Datejusts and DD primarily.

I am going with 36 mm as the Date Just is reportedly the biggest seller throughout the years worldwide.

I would say 40 because most sport models don’t come in 36.

I’d guess 36 too. DJs, OPs, DDs, over the years. The bigger, pro craze is a recent phenomenon, by comparison.

Never a need for that! I buy what I like.

This question came to mind after seeing my butchers 36 DD on his arm he said, for the last 40+ yrs.

I need no approvals other then the warden (my Mrs.)!

I'm not anyone's competition, when it comes to these larger sizes.

Funny, nobody has proposed 31 or 34 yet. Many favorites I think were historically 34mm (original AK, OPD) and sold very well for may years. And, for an equally long time, 31 was considered the "midsize" variant of choice, selling well to men and women alike. While the 31 is now almost exclusively a women's watch, and 34 leans that direction, too, both still sell very strongly. Not necessarily as iconic as the DJ/DD in 36, but perhaps equally (if not more) popular.

Without doubt the 36mm DJ range.

36 because of the early decade of sales. If they started today, would be 40 for men and 31 for women.

Although I prefer 40+mm, I think there are a lot more 36mm models that have been pumped out over the years.

I’d say 36 because I’m guessing Datejusts are the highest selling Rolex watches ever. They only recently became available in 41mm. Plus, I’m guessing the 36mm variants have sold more than the 41s anyway over the last dozen or so years.

Of course the 41 isn’t really 41mm anyway. It’s closer to 39, but let’s not make this any more complicated than it needs to be.

36. And in the future more so I think than right now. I feel that everything is moving down in size. I mean, other people claiming 40 here are really just trying to say that the sub and gmt outsell everything else. Daytona is 38mm.

Definitely 40mm. Yes 36mm has been sold for more years, but Rolex wasn't selling 1 million watches a year back then. 40's are the most sold

‘Manly’ arms existed for centuries before a wristwatch (or even clocks) were even thought of. Keep things in order;-).
