Would you pay for a Rolex factory experience and watch delivery?

If it guaranteed immediate delivery of any Rolex watch?

Yes or no?

Kinda like a European delivery for a car or hand bag or wine bottle.

Chewie did you recently get hired at a Rolex-focused thinktank?

YES from me. Just like the Porsche factory delivery/test drive experience. Wonderful excuse to travel to Europe...

No ..

Because I already have done just that, but NO payment due at all, from Patek Philippe.

I have collected 3 watches so far from the Factory.

I also did the factory tour at the same time which i have done quite a few times now and also a visit to the Patek Philippe museum.

Perhaps I could collect the mythical Rolex at the same time as my next visit to Patek Philippe as Rolex are just down the road.

From here its just a short one hour flight away

Sure, and the timepiece could be optional.

This. I would combine it with a Porsche European Delivery. Imagine picking up your car in Germany, driving on the autobahn and then the Romantische Strauss on the way to Switzerland for a factory tour and picking up your brand new Daytona (because Motorsport). Then cruise around Europe in style. Just the thought of it gets me excited. Love Europe.

Yes, I would! I grew up in Geneva and loved it! A beautiful city in a beautiful part of the world. A trip back there is long overdue...!

‘Scuse me… but did you say watch delivery??

I get the idea of a car being ‘delivered’ because it has to be inspected, tested, washed/detailed before the customer takes possession of it.

But a wristwatch? Other than some mook at the authorized dealer removing the stickers and maybe winding it and setting the time for you, they pretty much hand you the watch and the box in which it came and you’re on your way. I truly don’t believe that the transfer of possession of a wristwatch from seller to buyer should be called ‘delivery’.

Absofreakinloutly!

I want to tour the factory anyway, and see Switzerland, but adding a watch delivery on top of that would be insane. Imagine touring in the morning and then being taken into a room and presented with a factory fresh Rolex that was finished that morning while you were touring. Hot damn!

Absolutely! I get over there often enough anyway, so why not. I've done european car delivery and it's great. I'm planning a trip next spring (CV permitting) and thinking about ordering a Porsche for factory delivery instead of going through the brain damage of renting a car, which sucks right now.
