Explorer with leather strap?
My wife has decided that we need his and hers Explorers. That's good news for me cuz I have the blessing to get a new watch. Bad news for my bank account...
Anyhoo, I have seen a few "Explore-style" watches on distressed leather aviator style straps with the big white stitching and was wondering if anyone can donate a picture and/or strap maker. I've been surfing some of the recommended sites from other threads but really haven't come up with anything that fits the bill. |

Yep, I ''borrowed'' some pics in the past from wthe www, so excuses up front.
I dunno who made these pictures, exept that one is named Hary.. But I kind of like the NATO on a Explorer, gives it a whole different look.. Or indeed on leather, looks great as well.. Till now I prefer mine on Oyster..

GJ,
Nice pics. I saw the first and third pic on one of your other posts but not the leather. Where did you find the strap? |

Well, only the last picture is my Explorer, the two other pictures I found on the internet..
I do think that a honey brown croc would look awesome on the Explorer, someday I will try that combo myself..

BTW, maybe you could try a Hirsch strap first, they are cheap and strong.
You should be able to get one for about $35,- or so..

Love the NATO strap, I will order one. Can someone verify that the bracelet is 20mm, I haven't received my watch yet.

Thanks guys, I got it off eBay for about 20 bucks from this guy-
http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/holbensattic Now that I like the look I'm thinking of scoring a crocodile strap to try.

The Explorer, of all the Rolex sport watch line, looks the best with aftermarket straps, IMHO.
