SBGA465 - finally a version of the snowflake that we have all been waiting for?
Hey guys,
I've been eyeing GS for a while. I've been trying with the idea of getting the SBGA413 lately. But it's a bit of a compromise as ideally I would like a SBGA211 "snowflake" that is in steel and a reasonable size. Today, the SBGA465 was announced. There isn't much info online but from what I can tell it's basically a snowflake in steel and at 40mm. Is that a fair way to view this new release? What do you guys think? |

It looks nice, but nothing will beat the Snowflake, that’s GS icon watch, at least to me!

Nice, but I'm not so impressed. Still don't like that SD meter on the dial, and that case shape is not my favorite by GS. That's an impression based just on photos, but like many GS watches, seeing them in person is essential.
I believe they released four new models from this line, including a blue and silver sunburst. |

I think the “snowflake” looks better , have always preferred spring drives in titanium rather than steel cases. There isn’t a significant difference in size between the two- just 1 mm, not sure of L2L size.

Dial seems more like the KiraZuri pattern they did for the US limited editions. Those ones (in steel) are selling way over retail so this might be a real sleeper watch.

I would agree with this - Seems definitely like the Kirazuri texture
