With a UK list price of £7,750 for the 126710BLRO "Batman" GMT II, that would be an absolute bargain if you could even buy it at AD retail, against what these are going for on the grey market. I gave up and have now ended up with a "Z" serial GMT II stick-dial, I would much rather pay the premium on a vintage model (if you can even call 2007 "vintage", but the model is a late example of the discontinued 16710) than on a current model, which on average seems to be double the list price!

Thanks so much for the chart, it's very helpful.

The prices have certainly gone up on the second hand market. I'm a long time collector and have turned down offers for years but some of the offers have been very tempting as of lately!

Sorry but I'm struggling to understand the chart. For the UK, was there a price rise in 2021?

Thank you

Thanks

You check on the first page the price for the m126715CHNR-0001 for Germany - then compare the price with the same model number in the new price list. And then you can calculate the difference.

I am sure you can do it yourself !! Give it a try.

Making a few calculations myself, and it seems like the average price increase for the SS models floats between 7.5% and 11%..

Think I'm gonna run to the AD and quickly pick up a Daytona and GMT before the end of the year!
Oh wait...

.

Price increase, if/when confirmed, is around 3% for all PM and TT models as well as non professional models , and around 11% for all SS professional models.

Temporary MSRP list for Germany before/after:

On the upside I waited only 1 year!

In the UK it is 4-5 years minimum waiting lists, with a lot of dealers refusing to add further names to the list.

Did you have a relationship with this AD?

And this will still do nothing to availability. Even at new prices we'll have waitlists.

Of course. So long as people are using Rolex watches as equivalent to their crypto investments, we'll never catch up.
