You’re doing it right. Just keep wearing and enjoying it!
When it’s ~10 years ago you can send it in for service and it will come back looking brand new. Fingers crossed you land a second piece before then because it’s hard to go without while your one and only is at RSC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Seriously??? There was a thread on one of forums years ago about coating a watch with Elmer's glue to protect it. Maybe you should google it!

Except he didn't just add a 1, he replaced a 2 with a 0. You don't know for sure that it's real and saying people don't know much about these watches is a bit arrogant. On the other side, I can't say for sure that it's fake, but I would think if he knew enough about reference numbers to post it, then he would be able to post the right one. This leads me to believe it's more likely fake than real.

Wear it.
The value is going up because inflation is rampant in USA, so don't worry, you won't ever get rich from that beat up Daytona. |

To the OP, don’t let the curmudgeons posting in this thread get you down. Your watch is a fantastic zenith Daytona reference 16503. It looks and sounds like you’ve made some fantastic memories with it on your wrist which is what it’s all about.

Wear it just as you've been doing; that's what it's made for. Gorgeous piece.

How can you not wear that???? Time on this earth is so short. Enjoy it, live life with it, and make memories with it on your wrist.

Apologies to all, it's a #16523. Papers have it right, I had it wrong. Thanks for the replies, looks like I'll continue to wear it.
