Swapping pearl in an aluminum 16800/16610 bezel insert
Hi all,
I am looking to find out if it’s possible to swap out the sapphire pearl from one aluminum bezel insert to another. Basically I have a beautiful faded insert but the pearl does not match the patina on my 16800, and I have another insert with a great pearl that I’d like to swap in. Is this something a jeweler can do? Is it feasible at all? Any guidance is appreciated. Picture of the pearl in question attached: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

They just pop out, although sometimes they might have been glued at some point during their life.
Carefully cleaning and pushing from the backside against the actual pip housing and it should come right off.

And they pop back in the same way? And this is true of the WG/sapphire pips as well as the plexi ones? Just trying to make sure before I make any mistakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
