I like some unusual divers and subs on rubber straps. Is it bad?

i put the bluesy on blue and the ploprof on white. Not sure i will ever test them below 3-4 feet in the water though. Does the water resistance matter if this is the case?

Buy what you like - Both pieces are great!

... However, Its a misconception that the strap has the match the dial or bezel of the watch - Both would look better with black. All comes down to personal preference naturally

Variety is the spice of life and it's good to not be standardised!

That’s the best plo-prof look I’ve seen.

And I used to think of picking up a bluesy to do what you have on blue strap… back when they were at discount lol.

I like watches on straps during the summer. Come fall they go back on the bracelets. That's just me and my enjoyment of watches. As far as straps and bezels matching; it depends on the watch and the mood I'm in. Sometimes it flips from one extreme to another. Wear your watches the way you like; don't let naysayers revent you from enjoying them.

I have a Submariner 114060 and the blue dial Seamaster Diver 300M. I definitely prefer the bracelet on these models, no doubt. The oyster bracelets on the 6 digit Subs are as good as it gets and the Seamaster bracelet is very much under-rated IMHO.

However, I do like a lot divers out there with either a rubber or sail cloth strap.

I’m not getting another diver anytime soon, but if I were, the next one will probably be on a rubber or sail cloth strap.
