Thanks! I totally agree. Not sure what it is exactly but I've handled ACs from ALS, Patek and LF, and this is easily my favorite of the bunch.

This is a great pic! People talk about dato/double split/triple split movements, which are obviously great, but this pocket watch style 3/4 plate design with gold chatons has such an old-world charm! The overall package is basically how a timeless pocket watch with calendar complication should look like, condensed into wristwatch form. Perfect execution by Lange!

totally agreed. their chrono movements are incredible to look at, and particularly in photos they look a lot more impressive than the 3/4 plate ones--but these 1815 and L1 movements are just gorgeous in person.

Congratulations. That's my favorite calendar moonphase watch and I love the fact that it's manual wind, which is my preference, yet can be quickly and easily set with the pusher.
