New 2021 LEC
I just purchased 2 new 2021 watches and I was photographing them and noticed the laser etched crystal was a different design. See below. The 2021 models are the Blue Faced Skydweller and the Yachtmaster II Everose. I have included a picture of my GMT Master II as well for reference to old LEC.

Interesting and thanks for posting. It looks like the new ones have a sloppy base to the coronet, unlike the old one that more closely matches the actual Rolex logo. I wonder why that is?

I was taking the same thing. I thought there was an error on the yachmaster II and came home to look at the skydweller and was semi relieved to see them both match. I agree though, the older LEC was much more pleasing.

I think the 's' in the laser etched crown indicates a service crystal

Maybe the machine that made those was on the fritz? Very strange.
I have two brand new watches, a TT SD43 ‘21 and a DSSD D-blue ‘21 and both are perfect.

I think the dots (angled five-pointed stars when you look with a microscope) are etched at different depths, so when you view at an angle the coronet will appear 'sloppy'.
