Incoming Wimbledon 36
Just picked up this beautiful 126234 over the weekend. First time seeing it in person and I had to have it.
Initial impressions - The watch feels slightly smaller than the 116234 I had a few years ago. Clear difference on the wrist due to slimmer lugs. I tried on the 41mm configuration (pic below) but found it too big for my liking. You can't beat the proportions and classy look of a 36 DJ IMO. Like most dials, pictures don't do it justice. The Wimbledon has a deep sunburst effect which gives it tons of character in various lighting. Ever since Rolex released the DJ36 with an easylink clasp I knew it was a winner. Don't get me wrong, the hidden clasp on the outgoing model is beautiful. But the ability to adjust the clasp on the fly is extremely valuable for me. The 41: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
