Longest Wait?

Hello! I've been waiting on a Rolex GMT with the blue dial and jubilee bracelet (aka Batgirl) from my AD for a little more than a year. What is the longest you've all had to wait for the infamous call? Also, I know the market has been very hot for Rolexes, but is my wait time fairly normal? I've bought multiple pieces from my AD (Rolex OP, Rolex Sub w/Date, Tudor Black Bay 58, and Longines Heritage Classic Tuxedo).

Thanks in advance everyone!

That’s what wait times should be like! Very reasonable. How did you do it?

Wouldn’t the longest wait be someone who is still waiting?

Longest Wait?

I’ve been waiting 1 year for an FPJ and have expressed interest in a resonance that wouldn’t be available to me for an estimated 6 years lol

For a Rolex I’ve never waited long. They have a ton of them it’s just whether the AD values you. If I was to get it, it happened relatively fast. If not after a month or so the odds drop off fast unless you get lucky or buy something.

I waited about 6 weeks or so for a submariner, and have been waiting almost a year for DJ31mm for my wife. I would have expected those wait times to be reversed.

Coming up on 4 years for the BLRO.

1. AD 1. Waiting list is 200 years.

2. AD 2. Said maybe I should go grey market if I’m not able to be patient. This was after the 3.5 year wait point.

3. AD 3. We will put your name on our list, but there are thousands of other customers ahead of you.

4. AD 4. Can I interest you in a 31mm DJ as a substitute?

3.5 years for my SD43. I asked to be put on the waitlist during my second Rolex purchase within the past 12 months at the time (Sep 2017).

BLRO - 18 months and still waiting. But I have confidence in my AD that I’ll get it this year.

Sadly you’re up against a lot of heavy hitters.

From what I’m reading, it looks like it’ll be a little while longer, haha. My AD has been really nice about me bugging them consistently though. I’m moving to NYC, but won’t change my AD because I’ve already established something with them. Hopefully as I get more pieces, it’ll get easier. I wish I could just walk in and buy what I want, but that sadly isn’t the reality of the market.

I've been told 3-4 years for the BLRO which I was shocked by, it's a small independent AD however they did get me a 126610LV in about 8 weeks back in March last year. and before that they got me a 114060 in about 6 months.

White dial Daytona. 6 months.
Hulk. On demand.
SD43. 3-4 months.
Pepsi. One year+.
41mm Submariner. Only two months.

Black dial Daytona 3 years, and waiting… Guess the AD thinks I should be happy with what I got?
