Spring Bars?
Hi all, QQ. Can I change out my own spring bars on a DJ 36 with a rattly jubilee bracelet? Or should have bring it to the shop?
Thanks |

Yes, spring bars are extremely easy to change. But, it’s probably the end links. Does it have solid end links? What year is it? Spring bars tend to not rattle as they are always under pressure and don’t really move. |

It is forbidden as stipulated in the fine print when buying a Rolex. I suggest you read what the punishment is before taking such illegal actions |

Ha, I was particularly focused on the level of effort, not the legality. But thanks!

Not sure I understand your question. With the correct tool it is easy to remove the two spring bars. Are you replacing the rattly bracelet with something else?

I was told that the spring bars could be defective or undersized and that’s why the bracelet is rattling. I figured I would try that first since it is a very inexpensive first option.

I’ve never seen or heard of a defective spring bar in the 15+ years I’ve been into watches. |
