Green Daytona at 125k on davidsw

And I still think it’s underpriced! My favourite piece by far

I mean I guess I’d buy it for 125k if I had to. I surely wouldn’t sell mine for 125

Agreed. My favorite modern/current Rolex, bar none.

As crazy as some think this is, it won’t last long at that price.

Considering the market price for a 116500 white dial I would say it’s undervalued

There's not many of these around and there wont be many more made , unless it's replaced with some other kind of green dial which is unlikely this watch will continue to rise.
If a Tiffany OP is going for $40000 then the Green Daytona is worth $125000

Agreed with comment above that based on the 116500, this one is undervalued. A green sunburst dial on a YG Daytona? When it gets discontinued these prices will seem like a bargain. That said, it’s still mind boggling-

It appears like the lowest priced pre-owned one on the market.

Not sure what the shock and awe regarding pricing is all about. This reference has been hawt for quite some time now and they simply are not that common coming out of AD...and possibly shut off completely if discontinued (which is the right move for Rolex).

People who have the means and like it will just buy it. At this level there isn't much difference between $90K (old price) and $125K (new price)....except for FOMO of it hitting $200K plus...so don't miss out.

Oh man, I don't want to know. I passed on one and reiterated I wanted the steel dial only.

Ok I looked. $65,000.

I’m not feeling this watch don’t see what all the fuss is about as for £125k people must be mad just being honest

I think this says more about how weak global currencies are than anything. Craziness for any of these Rolex, Patek, or APs to sell $100k + that were barley moving out the door at MSRP not all that long ago. Ultra wealthy are probably parking their money in hard assets like jewelry and collectibles in advance of a possible crash in financial assets and cryptos. It happens more than you would think historically.

Same could be said about any PM Daytona without the ceramic bezel. I’ve seen several with wear and scratches and they look very nice. How many green dials have you seen polished? If you have some pics (worn or polished), please post them to illustrate.

Not really surprising considering the overall hot watch market. Is it nuts? Sure.. but im sure it'll sell and the next one listed will be even higher
