There have been a few, they're not that difficult to get these days, might be worth just phoning round Ernest Jones, Goldsmiths and other large chains.

I would try Berrys in Leeds (they had one 3 weeks ago hidden in the back) and saw one in the window in 'Lister Horsfall' Jewellers in Ilkley (West Yorkshire) around the same time.

If you call Berrys (where I have ordered my DJII from) then speak to 'Simon [Leicester]' who dealt with my transaction, and my mothers the week before hand. He is a great guy. If you let him know that I [James Helliwell] referred you then he may go the extra mile to help you out

My mum was given 17.5% off a Cartier Ballon Bleu the weekend before I secured 15% off the new DJII...

Sorry Dalew. It was me that beat you to the DSSD at Goldsmiths in the Trafford Centre.
I was up in the Lakes on Tues and whilst showing my friend this very site I spotted the posting from a fellow TRF'er advising me of this particular DSSD whereabouts. 10 mins later I'd put 500 down on it and picked up the bad boy on Weds. Apparently it had been in their window for a few days which really surprised me as its in such a popular retail centre.

Good Luck in your quest of tracking another one down. It's a fantastic piece that's well worth the effort. Hopefully like buses another one will be along shortly

Hey, I was in the Trafford Centre today!! Were you in Goldsmiths??

They had a TT GMTIIc behind the counter and a Yacht-master and LV Sub in the window.

If you're still after a Deepsea, let me know and i'll give you details of a contact at David Robinsons.

They have been several in EJ windows, so they are available new with your name on the warranty for £5211. There is no need to wait for this watch.
The preowned prices (not on this forum!) are heading south fast to reflect this.

Finally picked up a BNIB DSSD today from goldsmith in nottingham (uk), thanks simon (magnet uk) for the tip off. It had been sitting in shop window for a couple of days. Seems sales are slowing SLIGHTLY on this watch in the current climate. I wouldn't be paying any more than mrsp for this watch as i think if you phone around you'll get one at that price, no discounts as yet...they still seeing very few milgauss GV and a list of 20 or so for an SS daytona...

It varies - my AD, for example, has recently had a few names put on the list, whilst before one had reached the window, so for this one example, I'd say there's a 4-6 month wait.

Must say, I've not heard of any UK AD's discounting a brand new Deepsea by £549!

Ok, I've had a look at Signet. What's the next step? Contact Ernest Jones?

Cheers,

Rob

The rush to buy the DSSD is over. List is discounted quite heaving in Japan by gray dealers.

Now buy some shares but make sure that your dealer is prepared to notify Signet of your purchase.
