I'd take the 2 watches over 1.

Sell the 1 you don't like and consider the other a free watch + cash for your time.

I have a Submariner and I'm getting a DJ41. I am not sure I'd make that trade. On the other hand, if I had a Pepsi, I'm not sure I'd trade it for a Sub and a DJ41.

Some interesting views. In an ideal world I’d have all three, but got an 126618LB coming any day now so the watch fund is depleted, if I want the Sub ND and DJ something will have to make way. Also, an AD isn’t offering me the trade. I’d have to sell the BLRO privately. The more I think about the more I’m inclined to keep the BLRO, and just buy the Sub ND when funds allow.

I think you'd regret selling the Pepsi.

I probably would keep Pepsi and try to add pieces at a later date . You're in great position either way . Good luck !!

Nope. Add them in the future if you still desire them. I think you will regret getting rid of the blro

I would try to add the Sub and DJ over a period of next 2 years in this case. Selling the Pepsi is a No.

Do it, you can always replace it if you regret, a sub and dj should net you a pepsi on a grey trade.

Trade if you wish but I’ll say, tell your AD you want the Sub and the DJ then see how long it takes to get them while you enjoy wearing your GMT.

Be 100% certain before making the move. Not easy to reverse that deal if you have regrets. I'd stick with the BLRO and try to add the 124060.

I would just add a Submariner if possible. So many other options.

OP - To me it depends on why you're considering selling the BLRO. You say you've enjoyed (or do enjoy) wearing it but are considering selling it because the market price has gone up. To me that's not a good long-term reason to sell on its own. It may seem like a great idea now - sell one, get two - but if you find yourself missing the BLRO a few weeks/months down the line.... then what?

This is why I always say that as a true watch enthusiast, buying (and especially selling) pieces should not be purely motivated by financial considerations. I only sell if I've genuinely fallen out of love with a piece; that way there's no regrets.

I would trade a DJ and Sub for the Pepsi. You got it the other way around.

I never recommend 1-for-2 trades. Keep the GMT and add a DJ. They make a great pairing

Trade Pepsi for Sub no date and DJ41?

I have a Pepsi and a sub. I love them both but to be honest I could live with owning just the sub. The new iteration of the 41 is a hard watch to shake.

Many on here are saying that the Pepsi is a more special watch? I do not understand why the Pepsi is more special than the submariner. I’m guessing they mean more expensive or harder to get lately? Because both of them have a storied history, with the sub slightly edging out the GMT in my opinion.

This. Cashing in on the hype for 2 great pieces in their own right isn’t bad. If you bought the Pepsi retail it’s a great idea if you like a sub as much as a Pepsi.

Id take the 2 over 1 blro on jubilee every time. I prefer Batman to Pepsi and would make this 2 for 1 trade if value was same. My blnr is a wedding present and sentimental value means it’s mine forever though…

BLRO is my favorite Rolex model. No way would I trade mine for a Sub and DJ. If I were a "one and done" watch guy it would be a BLRO!

Assuming you actually like and enjoy wearing the watch, keep the BLRO. It’s cooler and will appreciate better than a Sub and DJ.

I wouldn't do it, as others said getting a new GMT at retail is impossible these days, I'd get the sub if you can, then again I have a sub and a GMT so am biased, but also would love a datejust in the future.
