Man I gotta start learning how to take better pics. The shot of the Daytona was done by my friend Joel, I love how the detail of the fat hands are shown in the pic.

I'm wearing the Langematik Perpetual today. I usually wear it Mon-Wednesday, then Thursday-Fri. I'll put on the L1. The Sub is reserved for evenings and weekends.

Does anyone else have a "method" for their collection?

That's a beauty, Langnam. Could get on my wish list real easily.

As for a method, no, mine's mostly madness. Can't seem to get a handle on any pattern. For awhile, I was alternating between my GMT-II and Breitling Olympus. Now that the Glycine Airman 9 has come along, that one has been added to the roatation as well. Jeez, I spend too much time in the morning trying to decide which watch to strap on that day.

Very nice watches, although not a lover of gold watches,I could live with Lange1. A great and quite unusual twin barrel movement, and I am big fan of the Glashütte Panoreserve. Now as to watch wearing no routine just what I feel like wearing.

I know not everyone would like this style, but I'm saving up for one of these.
I'm half way there now. The first half included convincing the wife.

Very nice! I came very close to pulling the trigger on a L1 in white gold a while back at an auction.........unfortunately the wife was there so I passed - or should I say "had to pass" on it.

There is one thing that bothers me (slightly) about them and that is the lack of a digit in the left date window for dates 1-9. It makes things look somehow out of balance. I prefer having the "0" there myself. But that is a relatively minor gripe about a watch that is a true classic in my view.

BTW love the perpetual as well.

Wow. Stunning pair there!

The dial on the first one looks great, it's not just a flat white is it? almost looks like it has a mica-ish sheen to it? Just awesome

Hi Otis,
The Lange1 isn't flat white, but something called Argente. It's basically a solid silver dial with some kind of coating that seems to reflect the gold across it, thus creating a nice sheen. IMO, it's quite elegant.
I give it 3 of these
