Missed the call

So as the title says : I missed the call….

Yeah ever since the pandemic i miss getting the call.
But thats not this story.
Last week a AD i had no prior buy history with myself called me. Totally missed the call, did not listen to my inbox to hear the mesage they left me, did not call back the number.

Nothing nada zilch from my part.

Monday while doing a walk with my 7 month old baby i again get a call , this time however i answered.

Hello im calling you on behalf of your intrest in a blue sky d on oyster are you still intrested i left u a message last week but you never came back to us.

My jaw hit the floor , my wife saw something was up with this call.

After a 2 year wait i was allocated my watch at a AD with me having zero buy history , hongkong melt down pandemic and current geopolitical situation must be a factor in the stars aligning for me on this one so i wont cheer to hard , but to those out there who are waiting who have no buy history who are still hoping on securing the watch they desire looks like sometimes rolex will bless you

As of this afternoon im walking with my sky d on the wrist.

Good luck to others

What's going on with Hongkong, I didn't realize that they had melted?

Nice watch. Congrats. My AD has apparently misplaced my phone number.

Lucky the called you back, could you imagine when you finally got around to listening to their message how you would have felt if it had been sold.

The SkyD Blue is a stunning piece, congratulations.

It’s not a sports model, it’s classed by Rolex as part of the classic collection.

Cases are skyrocketing there. They are at their peak since the onset of the pandemic and case numbers are continuing to rise.

Thanks everybody congratulating me buy i feel the real goat in this story is the AD imagin having that watch and keeping it a week for a previous zero dollar customer and still trying to get it to me they probably could have flogged it to 10 of their already customers

Agree that sounded like unbelievable luck, an AD held out a blue SkyD for you for a week? Here stateside that piece would probably be gone within an hour after your first missed call... What's going on over there in HK LOL

Haha, congrats. Called u twice and u must be very important to this AD or SA. I was sure loads of customers SA can call and they can pay immediately instead of waiting over the weekend.
So promising and I am sure I will get the call soon after 2 yrs waiting. Haha.

Just the outbreak of COVID pandemic in HK and it is not the end of the world. Don't think ADs will sell all of their stocks to get the cash as the pandemic is just temporary. My family is over there and have most up to date news. That's all.

Wait, you got the allegedly hardest ss Rolex to get without buying history and the AD even chased you down for it? You should buy a lottery ticket next.
