Anyone have a AP hookup ????
I am seriously looking to have one of these. It's arrival to the US will be very soon. It's a AP Titanium Barrichello and will be very hard to come by.
If anyone has an AP connection, please get back with me via [email protected] . |

The rose gold version is unreal. A true beauty and seriously out of my price range.

Mark, the jeweller that's partially hosting our GTG is also an AP AD. Not sure on pricing though. We tend to get raped on watch prices in Canada, but if you come, you may see one in the flesh.

I doubt we will see these, a Hong Kong AD who I had my name on the list for (Prince Jewellery and Watch) called me last week to offer me one of these. No discount is offered. List price is about HK$210,000 ($27,000) and with that price I could buy two regular pre-owned Offshores, and have plenty of change left over for a 14790. The Barrichello is sweet, but not sweet enough to justify a 100% premium.
At the AD of the GTG, I would expect list to be almost US$40,000 due to the taxes and duties, and considering a regular Offshore on bracelet lists for $26,000 US there. |

You never know... I generally dislike APs as a rule and I don't like watches that get associated with personalities as they tend to limit the market. I really question the association with Rubens Barricello purely because he's a mediocre F1 driver on a good day. But, whatever floats your boat. That's a lot of coin for a watch, that's for sure.

It's not the association I like, I'm hardly into F1 racing, and haven't heard about Barrichello until AP issued this. Same with the Richard Mille Felipe Massa 005. Another dream watch of mine because of the styling. I don't give a toss about who Felipe Massa is, to be 100% honest. (Although I do know who he is)

Oh, man, that is my kind of watch. I don't care who the association is with (I don't even know who you're talking about). That is one sweet piece of complication. But at $27-40K, it will remain on the dream list for a long, long time to come.

By the way: I'm sorry if I committed any faux pas by listing dealer name and prices!

My AD has two coming in, both pre sold and pre paid. I do hope to see it before the owner pics it up.

Not a lover of any of the RO range, and agree with Mamas, great movement let down by a ugly watch.

Normally not a fan of them, they seem awfully overpriced IMO. That's just me though.
Althought..... I did have a look at a T3 a while ago, and that I would like. Just because I could use it as a boat anchor if I ever got in trouble.....

Mark, I called my buddy today and left him a message. I can't promise anything, but hopefully he can at least offer some hope.
If I had to wear one watch for the rest of my days, I would be very happy with only a RO chrono on SS bracelet.
