Should I buy this BLNR?
Hi. What do you guys think about buying this 116710BLNR from 2013?
It's a full set and has allegedly never been worn. Is the price of 21,500usd ok? https://imgur.com/a/zGOIzNH Any thoughts would be appreciated. |

Buy only from a reputable dealer. Plenty of fakes and scams out there.

If 2013 watch said to be unworn, it would rise red flag for me. Even if it's unworn, it was sitting for 9 years without moving parts, which is not good for the movement even with synthetic lubricants.

Only if trustworthy as others have mentioned already.
Will the seller accept he sends to it RSC for a quote? or what kind of guarantees is he providing that is original / not stolen?. |

OP already mentioned that it is full set, that means box and papers. and there is no way to prove its stolen or not, unless the buyer takes it to RSC for checking.

I personally would find one for sale by one of the reputable TRF sellers in the FS section before dropping $21k at that oddball website. Pictures look decent yes but why is a 2013 watch left unworn. And you need better day light photos than those displayed. There are a few nice ones listed here and similar in price. Thought I had seen a nice 2019 posted by Takaya just the other day for similar price. Plus the newer the watch you find the more remaining warranty too.

There's always a risk buying 2nd hand. Just do your best to vet the seller. Remember "trusted sellers" are just sponsors of the website and aren't any different from any other 2nd hand jewelry vendor. Rarely do people get outright scammed by large vendors, the main risk is in condition description, lack of links, questionable history/unseen damage, replacement parts etc.

If you decide to buy , do not under any circumstance wire funds.Amx or CC , period. Then when you receive it go to Rolex AD for inspection. Just sayin, humble michael
